Weather: Overcast with light easterly winds. Warm and humid but much more comfortable than yesterday. Steady rain moved in and ended the count at 12pm EST.
Raptor Observations: Overall poor conditions. Nine Ospreys were the main raptor highlight of the day along with the first Broad-winged Hawk of the season. Some local raptor activity including two Cooper's Hawks and an adult Bald Eagle.
Predictions: TOMORROW: Cloudy early becoming partly cloudy. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible. High 89F. Winds WSW at 5-10mph. Another hot day, though the cloud cover may help. A less favorable wind direction. There should be some raptor activity, especially if we get some sun, but probably not a lot of migration.
FRIDAY: Intervals of clouds and sunshine. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible. High 87F. Winds WNW at 5-10mph. A more favorable wind direction may bring some migrants.
SATURDAY: Sunshine and clouds mixed. High 81F. Winds N at 5-10mph.
