Weather: Heavy overcast with haze in morning. then a thunder and lightning storm came through across the valley, a heavy line of clouds ran from Bedford to the North with lightning all across the far ridges.It rained down in the valley but we never got a drop at the watch.
Raptor Observations: 7 Bald eagles and 4 unidentified raptors followed the storm and were very high flying in and out of the clouds. We ended up with 2 broad wings and four red tail that we could identify.
Non-raptor Observations: Buterflies Cabbage whites, clouded sulphers , black and tiger swallowtails, red spotted purples, 38 monarchs.
Mourning doves, bluejays, robins, waxwings, local tv's, chimney swirts, tree swallows, 1 olive sided flycatcher 4 hummingbirds
