A light north wind improved the numbers at the olive grove today. Barr Lake sure is attracting the Wilson's Warblers- nice job Barr Lake Banding station! Green-tailed Towhee was new for the season. Fourteen bird species were captured today. *31 New Banded Birds* Wilson's Warbler- 15 MacGillivray's Warbler- 1 Orange-crowned Warbler- 1 Western Wood-Pewee- 1 Western Flycatcher- 1 Willow Flycatcher- 1 N. House Wren- 2 Green-tailed Towhee- 1 Lincoln's Sparrow- 2 Western Tanager- 1 Swainson's Thrush- 1 Gray Catbird- 1 Brown Thrasher- 2 American Robin- 1
*2 Recaptures- neither bird gained weight from banding date* Brown Thrasher- 2
