Hi birders,
This evening two of the local GREAT-HORNED OWLS visited shortly after
sunset. One posed long enough, for what might as well be a series of
black and white of photos of these great birds. The owl was back lit by
the already set sun. Three fairly dark image links for your perusal:
Is this art? Hardly, but doesn't matter I think. Just a fun set of images.
(For those curious about the technical details... camera: Sony A1 alpha
(first generation), lens: Sony 600mm G zoom lens, ss 1/125, fstop f6.3,
ISO 1600 and 3200. Post processing: cropping and very limited light
adjustments with Photoshop 2026, noise reduction with DeNoize AI 3.7.2
low light model.)
