Hi folks. I am really interested in the pelagic birds that are being spotted offshore these days and have seen many in my scope recently. I am usually seeing them at the edge of visibility, so identification from my birding books is a challenge. I would love to spend some time with folks who are more experienced to learn what to look for with offshore bird ID. If anyone would like some company for some coastal birding and willing to share some experience, please let me know. I am available most mornings.

Picking up on Florence's report of a juvenile Parasitic Jaeger at Campus Point, I had an immature Parasitic Jaeger at the point at COPR this morning. Based on a photo at 'All About Birds', it looks like it was an "immature intermediate morph".
