I birded here from 11:30-2:30, which was a bit beyond mid-tide to high tide:
Great Egret 9 Snowy Egret 7 Great Blue Heron 9 Green-winged Teal 3 at rocky edge of ocean; seemed strange Common Eider 5 Turkey Vulture 1 Osprey 1 Red-tailed Hawk 1 Cooper's Hawk 1 Semipalmated Plover 100 Black-bellied Plover 18 Semipalmated Sandpiper 15 Least Sandpiper 40 Sanderling 3 Greater Yellowlegs 1 Ruddy Turnstone 6 same area; near arrival point to the ocean (pile of debris which marks the boardwalk trail dowitcher sp. 8 Forster's Tern 2+ Least Tern 6 Common Tern 20 sterna sp. 25 Horned Lark 6 Monarch 2 seen on my way to Third Cliff Orange Sulphur 4 sand dunes Cabbage White 6 Painted Lady 1
