Nebraska birders,
I attended a public bird walk at Rowe Sanctuary on Saturday, August 29. My ebird list is at https://ebird.org/checklist/S387952818. Rowe is a National Audubon Society sanctuary. You can read more about Rowe at https://www.audubon.org/rowe. We walked along the south bank of the Platte River which is unfortunately dry at this time but we still saw lots of birds. Birds are migrating and you just never know what you'll see.
I'll be leading a similar birding field trip for the Nebraska Ornithologists' Union fall meeting/birding event September 11-13 at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. I hope to see you there.
