Five other folks helped greatly as the birds primarily came in from the east and just moved out to the west. The challenge was that the flight corridors were about equally to the north and the south. Right as we finished there was a final push of fourteen birds that flew directly over us. It was nice way to end.
The forecast suggests rain is on the way. Monitoring will continue except for full on rain or lightning storms. Sometimes there can be good flights in between light showers. We'll go into September until there a couple of zero counts in a row.
