The Turkey Vulture migration may be beginning. Around noon there were two TVs circling over Belfair. As we headed out on North Shore on the north side of Hood Canan, they were headed the same direction. They must have followed North Shore Rd down Hood Canal as I saw two TV from my house near Tahuya about 11 miles SW of Belfair about 20 minutes later (average time to drive home). The wind has been from the ESE today which would create some nice thermals or up-rising just above the Canal. From here they can catch the Tahuya thermals and head south toward Olympia.
