A Swainson’s Thrush visited our fountain this morning and again this afternoon, presumably the same bird and the first I’ve seen since fall 2024. We don’t see them in the yard every year, so this was exciting, especially as it stayed long enough on both visits for photos. 23 August is my earliest fall date.
