Hi birders, A bunch of yellowlegs and the Baird's Sandpiper continued, at Pajaro Dunes - Shorebirds Pond, Sunday morning. At one point, was able to photograph 12? Yellowlegs together. For fun, you can try to count them here, in a very large photo: https://www.lighthousenet.com/photos/birds/documentary/yl_mallard_260830a.jpg How many do you see? (Hint, check those mallards carefully...) Bonus question: Can you identify a Lesser Yellowlegs in the photo, if so, which one is it?
