Subject: [NEBirds] Oldfather Trail
Nebraska birders,

I walked the Oldfather Trail at Cottonmill Park just west of Kearney this
morning. If you ever have a chance to go there, I recommend it. There's a
small lake, open woodlands and some upland prairie. It's a bit hilly and
very beautiful. I've walked the trail in the past but not all the way to
the north end like I did today. You know how we sometimes neglect good
places that are in our "backyard." My ebird lists are at
https://ebird.org/checklist/S388277530 and
https://ebird.org/checklist/S388297154.

I look forward to seeing you at the Nebraska ornithologists' Union birding
event September 11-13 at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.

Shelton, Nebraska
