Anyone who has been to the Guilford County Farm in Guilford County, NC knows
that it is a special place for birds, nature, quiet space and agricultural
activites. A developer has purchased land boardering the farm, on it's west
side. They are looking to put 130 houses on about 230 acres of land and to do
this they need to rezone it from Agricultural to Residential. There is a
movement afoot to keep this rezoning from happening so that development does
not encroach any further around the farm. If you would like to be part of
this effort, here are some options:
