For the past week and a half we've been seeing Mississippi Kites around our property. I'd seen up to nine at once on several occasions, but I am sure there were more. This morning I counted 22 circling over our meadow, but they were dipping below the tree line, so there were quite possibly more than that out of my view. We've never had that many, or for this long, on our property before. (At least that we were aware of). I tried my darndest to manifest a swallow-tailed, but it hasn't happened....yet.
