This morning I scoped this bird a bit downstream of the gate from the park that enters the river trail. Looking at a map, I would estimate I was adjacent to about the 5th or 6th house west of the park. Approx 33.853497, -117.821062 <https://maps.app.goo.gl/9ewKNxb42bZnKTVWA> The river has a row of vegetation growing right down the middle, and the bird was foraging on the other side of the vegetation, so a little challenging to see. Wandering around with a small group of Dowitchers, lots of yellowlegs, some smaller peeps and I briefly spied a Sora working the far edge as well.
With the humidity level, it was pretty uncomfortable to be out for long. Be safe. Hydrate. Good birding.
