Hey Marilou…we still have at least one Pewee hanging around and a Great Horned Owl was hooting around midnight the other night when we went out to see the moon eclipse between breaks in the clouds. Nighthawks were abundant near Devil’s Tower Wyoming a couple weeks ago during a road trip but not much other wildlife there maybe because it’s been so dry. Some grazing cattle and a few Antelope but not a single Bison anywhere on the whole trip. We were kind of bummed about that but I guess unless they’re “ranched”, there are very few places you can see them “in the wild” anymore. Only on tribal land (we looked) or in national parks I think.

Migration is underway with groups of 7-9+ over Bloomfield Hills in the early evening hours.
Male Baltimore Orioles gathering in tops of the tallest trees in early evening also.
Eastern Wood Pewee audible all summer has now gone silent...
