Subject: [sbcobirding] Eling’s Park
Hi all,
While birding thru the SB botanical gardens restoration patch at Eling’s park I flushed an American Bittern. I’m not sure who was more surprised the bittern or myself. The bittern disappeared into the neighborhood east of the park. Later ran into Hugh Ranson, and we found the Grasshopper sparrow that he found yesterday.
Good birding,
Jim Hodgson
Santa Barbara
