Nebraska birders,
In Arthur County there's a hot spot called Neilson Lake. It's about four miles south of Rothwell Road along highway 61. I've looked for this location a few times. There's not a sign that says 'Neilson Lake.' There is a sign that says 'Flying U Cattle.' I assume that these are two names for the same place. I met a woman who lives there one time and she was very welcoming. She told me that I could go along their driveway to get closer to the lake. It is private property so we need to ask permission. There is enough room on the highway shoulder to park and view the lake. I just want to make sure that this is the ebird hotspot.
