We were too late when we arrived at the stone bridge in Bennington, over
the Contoocook (arrived at 7:30 and stayed until it was hard to pick out
birds at 8:00) - but we saw 11 nighthawks (most individuals, though one
group of 3) and a couple of chimney swifts. Where were you watching from at
Powder Mill Pond?
