It was flying in circles and diving into the lagoon by the beach. Dark bill and lack of tufts on its head made me think it wasn’t an Elegant. I have some decent pictures I’ll add later."

- Comments: "Tentative ID at location of Common Tern reported by Ron Hirst (see attached photo). Thisbtern was along Mission Creek outflow directly adjacent to clearlyb larger Royal/Elegant terns and Black Skimmers nearby. Also saw two other small terns in flight that appeared to be Forster's."
