Only one Common Nighthawk this evening on the HMBC's Nighthawk Watch at the Albany Pine Bush, but a lovely sunset and rising near-full moon made the many mosquitoes almost bearable! Weather permitting, we're out there again tomorrow evening at 6 pm for the final night of this year's Nighthawk Watch! We'll be there tomorrow, Aug 27, unless there's steady or heavy rain.
