Weather: Clear day, 72-78 degrees F. Very little wind from the SW.
Raptor Observations: Not many raptors today. Almost all birds today came in from due north and passed over the ridge going due south, not really using the ridge's thermals at all.
A singing great horned owl right at noon was an unexpected surprise!
Non-raptor Observations: Great spangled fritillary, American lady, grey comma, 12-spotted skimmer, and a huge carrion beetle trying to steal my lunch.
Predictions: Showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 5pm, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 5pm. High near 82. Light and variable wind becoming south 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
