Subject: [cobirds] COMMON RINGED PLOVER in Wyoming
Hi all,

Wanted to get the word out about a COMMON RINGED PLOVER I found this
afternoon at Goshen Hole Reservoir in Goshen County, Wyoming, about 60
miles north of the Colorado border. Some back-of-camera pics and audio in
the checklist for now: eBird Checklist - 23 Aug 2026 - Springer/Bump
Sullivan WHMA--Goshen Hole Reservoir - 36 species (+1 other taxa)

I suspect this bird will depart tonight or sometime in the next few days.
Assuming it heads south next through Colorado, a few possible places it
might stop include Jackson Lake SP, Prewitt, Barr Lake, or perhaps
somewhere closer to the Front Range. With recent records from Arizona and
elsewhere, there may still be more to come this fall!

Good birding,
Jack Bushong
