Weather: Heavy fog and near zero visibility dominated the morning, gradually improving to 10�25 miles as the fog cleared around 10:30, though low clouds lingered. Temperatures climbed from the low 70s into the upper 80s, with variable winds of 0�9 mph shifting from NE/N in the morning to SE/S by afternoon.
Raptor Observations: Broad Winged Hawk vocalizations heard through the fog between 8-9. Non migratory Accipiter at 10:20. 2 Non migratory Broad Winged Hawks seen at 10:30. Non migratory Accipiter seen at 11:00.
Non-raptor Observations: Yellow Warbler and a Black and White Warbler observed early in the fog between 7-8. A single Raven seen between 12-13. No hummingbirds seen today. We have noticed the same Turkey Vulture now two days in a row missing a chunk of right wing feathers. The rain last night also produced a large increase in mushrooms along the AT heading up to the overlook.
