- Comments: "Observed foraging approximately 200 yards away on the south side of the pond, along narrow mudflats and in shallow water. The slender Tringa was noticeably smaller and more delicate than two nearby, stocky Wilson’s Snipe. The bird showed all-white underparts, dark wings, a distinct black carpal spot, a small head with white supralorals, complete and bold white eye-ring, a medium-length, straight bill slightly longer than the head, and greenish legs. Images are heavily cropped."

- Comments: "Small tern with gray mantle, upper tail and crown; white underparts, collar, lower part of face, and forehead; black bill and patch behind eye. Bird flew with faster wingbeats than Forster’s and Elegant Terns, and only three times did we see it contact the water surface."
