The fog has been hanging over the Upper Valley almost every morning, creating some wonderful - and occasionally challenging - conditions for photographing the my bird buddies.
I got out to see Hank, the great blue heron, along with his cousin Heron Burr, the green heron. Along the way, I saw wood ducks and spotted sandpipers. And I made another visit to the Easton loon family, whose two chicks are now rapidly growing their adult feathers and getting ready to attempt their first flights.
