This morning, I had a juvenile Baird's Sandpiper with juvenile Western and Least Sandpipers at the Ravenswood Salt Pond R1/R2. The Baird's was seen along the trail scopingout to a pond. Access to the trail is from the frontage road on the north side of the Dumbarton Bridge. Baird's have been noted often at the salt pond at this time of the year with the arrival of juveniles. Also on the pond were ( 31 ) Red-necked Phalaropes.
