Another quiet morning at the lake. Virtually nothing on the lake other than Pied-billed Grebes.
Birds seen:
Black-crowned Night Heron
Brewer's Blackbird
White-breasted Nuthatch
Great Egret
Great Blue Heron
Belted Kingfisher
Common Yellowthroat in molt
I'd be interested in some help with the Yellowthroat ID. I didn't see the whole bird. I saw a uniformly yellow throat, breast, and belly, an olive green cap, and small, irregular black patches on the side of the neck. Looked similar to images on Google.
