Yesterday 8/17, Chris and I looked for the Baird's Sandpiper, first reported and found by Scott and Linda Terrill in the morning. We found it quite easily foraging with Western and Least Sandpipers on the north side of the lagoon. Today 8/18, we returned to Pomponio State Beach, in part looking for the Royal Tern reported by Joe Morlan at San Gregorio beach .We ran into Roy Carlson and the three of us ventured onto Pomponio beach.
