Five of us had a nice early season flight of 677. The last half hour was particularly impressive with a feeding frenzy of 260 to our north.
The Chimney Swift count was only a third of yesterday's count, but both the swifts and nighthawks were feeding pretty high and we may not have been able to spot some of the swifts.
Last night we had a Peregrine on one of the church steeples; this evening we had a Merlin in a nearby tree. The variation from night to night is always fascinating.
