Weather: 77.8-88.5 degrees. 0-0.6 mph light NNW wind, 50-100 percent cloud cover throughout the day.
Raptor Observations: Some nice broad-winged movement, biggest kettle was 6 birds. They used both the north and south side of the ridge pretty evenly. Not really any other species. Couldn't decide between broadie vs red-shouldered on one tricky bird. Consistent movement throughout the day before dropping off hard around 12:30 - not even any more local vultures!
Non-raptor Observations: Swallow and swift movement continues, mostly barn and tree, with 2 purple martins being my personal favorite. A large distant flock I thought was a buteo kettle revealed itself to be a group of 6 playful ravens as I watched them somersault around each other. It turns out a group of ravens is called an unkindness. While unfortunately named, I got nice views of the unkindness once they got close.
