Subject: [nysbirds-l] Ecuador birding trip with VT nature center this February
Hi all,

We wanted to invite you to check out an upcoming birding adventure to
Ecuador with North Branch Nature Center, guided by Chip Darmstadt, on Feb
17-27. Amazing birds, unbelievable ecosystems, and a great group of
like-minded travelers. Toucans, tanagers, cock-of-the-rock, and even Andean
condors.

All the proceeds of our birding trips support our youth nature education
work here in Vermont, so these trips are a great way to combine
philanthropy with your passion for birds. And we offset the trip's carbon
footprint (including your flights) through Vermont wilderness conservation
projects with the Northeast Wilderness Trust.

On a personal note, I traveled with Chip to Ecuador as a teenager on a
similar itinerary long ago. These birds, these birding lodges, and Chip's
passionate leadership were big catalysts in my subsequent pursuit of a
career in nature—I'm so excited for others to be similarly transformed by
the experience!
