Weather: Thick fog until 10am, then mostly cloudy, hot and humid the rest of the day with a light breeze from the northwest.
Raptor Observations: The first Broad-winged hawks lifted from the valley south of the hawkwatch around 10:15am EDT. Local raptors not counted - 3 Redtails, 2 Osprey, 1 kestrel, 1 immature Bald Eagle, several turkey vultures and 2 Black vultures. A very dark juvenile broadwing circled the watch on and off in the afternoon before heading back to the northeast.
Non-raptor Observations: Black and white warbler, indigo buntings. Monarchs - 5
