Weather: Fog persisted in the morning until 1100. The rest of the day was good visibility and a mix of partly cloudy to cloudy. A thunderstorm ended the count an hour early.
Raptor Observations: First bird of the day was a low and close Broad-winged Hawk. This species dominated the count, but didn't overshadow a nice silhouette of a Peregrine Falcon streaming south!
Non-raptor Observations: Today was a good day for aerial insectivores, with a nice flight of swallows, including Barn, Tree, N. Rough-winged, and Purple Martin.
