Subject: [SFBirds] Bald Eagle at Fort Mason
Migrants were almost non-existent on today's GGAS Field Trip at Fort Mason (a WESTERN FLYCATCHER and a WESTERN TANAGER), but we had better luck with birds of prey, with the highlight being an adult BALD EAGLE that flew over heading south a little before 11 am. Earlier we had great scope looks at one of the resident GREAT HORNED OWLS, and an OSPREY flew over heading east.
