Weather: Light to moderate wind out of the East early then SE. Partly cloudy, high cumulous clouds. Very Nice day.
Today was the opening day of the hawk watch which also corresponded to our work day.
Raptor Observations: This report shows the number of each species to constitute a "temporary" report. A more detailed report will be available in the near future.
Osprey-4 Sharp-shinned hawk-2 Cooper's Hawk - 1 Red-shouldered Hawk- 1 Broad-winged Hawk- 11 Red-tailed Hawk- 8 American Kestrel-2 (1 male and 1 female) Bald Eagle-18 all but about 2 were adults, 2 immature mostly under 100 feet of hieght. TOTALS (ALL RAPTORS): 53
