Hi, ALL:
I am beginning to think my eyes failed me. Yesterday and today among normal yellow and black American goldfinches at one of our feeders was one that all the usual black cap and wing stripes, except instead of yellow it was nearly white—a bit of a creamy white. I could not get a photo, but it looked exactly like the usual American Goldfinch would look in a black and white photo. Has anyone else seen one like this?
