Subject: Laughing Gull on the Mississippi, Cape Girardeau
I relocated the immature Laughing Gull first reported yesterday from Red
Star Access in Cape Girardeau Co. The bird was with a Ring-billed Gull on a
sandbar opposite Cape Rock Park, over a mile upstream.

It may have been the light, but the bird I saw looked paler than the one in
the photo accompanying yesterday’s report. There might possibly be two.
Crummy photos will be on eBird shortly.
