A Purple Gallinule was photographed earlier today at the San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary at the northeast corner of Pond C and later reported to a local RBA group (see this site for maps: https://seaandsageaudubon.org/visit/ ). If accepted, this would be a first for Orange County and the 8th for California. Good luck to all who chase!
