A group of four of us tried valiantly to re-find this Sandpiper at Area K this morning, but we came up short.  Because of the heavy overcast, viewing conditions were unusually good for this time of day.
We moved on to Devereux, where we combed through the small Sandpiper flock there and found nothing present except Western and Least Sandpipers.

This evening, I saw another Semipalmated Sandpiper at Area K, a different juvenile to the one from a few days ago. There was also the first juv SB Dowitcher of the season there
