A group of four of us tried valiantly to re-find this Sandpiper at Area K this morning, but we came up short. Because of the heavy overcast, viewing conditions were unusually good for this time of day. We moved on to Devereux, where we combed through the small Sandpiper flock there and found nothing present except Western and Least Sandpipers.
