So sorry to hear about your lost binoculars.
You're right that there are many models to choose from. There are lots of
online reviews,
I don't think there is a best one.
At our price point, Vortex works very well for us. If I had to replace a
pair, I would likely stay with Vortex; I really like the company. The Nikon
Monarch series are also very good.
