Six new species were added in July to the annual City list, which is above average for the month of July. The additions were Scripp's Murrelet, Northern Fulmar, American Bittern, Ash Storm-Petrel, Ruddy Turnstone, and Baird's Sandpiper. This brought us to a record 277 species through the end of July.
