Observation start time: 08:00:00
Observation end time: 16:15:00
Total observation time: 5.5 hours

Official Counter: Chris Smith, Maili Waters

Observers: Bridget Watts, Daena Ford, Jill Frier, Luke Seitz

Visitors:
Duncan the dog and his human stopped by to chat

Weather:
Very cloudy all morning with not much flight seen. The wind kept the warm
temps at bay. Drops of rain didn't continue for long.

Clouds started to break up later in the afternoon, and winds continued to
be SW. This brought in a later afternoon fight.

Raptor Observations:
Not much seen today as compared to the last few days. The flights we did
see were quite high and distant. A local osprey hung out in an inland tree
for a long while. Juvenile bald was learning how to fish with an adult
nearby.

The weather changed and clouds broke up for a later afternoon flight, which
fortunately Maili Waters and Luke Seitz were able to get out and tally from
3:00-4:15 EST

Non-raptor Observations:
A monarch butterfly and a white admiral made an appearance. A couple of
unknown shore birds flew by as well

Predictions:
Partly cloudy, NW winds minimal chance of rain. Probable some flight but NW
winds will not be optimal
