Subject: [ia-bird] Summer field reports data
Hi all!
Hope you had a good summer of birding! Our summer field report covers June
and July, and on the 15th of August we will be downloading the eBird and
IOU data. So this is your friendly notice to please finish up any reporting
of your rare or unusual birds. If you don’t have a picture, please put a
detailed description of what the bird looked like and how it was acting in
the comments section. Simply putting “Merlin ID” will not suffice as Merlin
can often be wrong. Also, if you observed any breeding, nesting or
fledglings, please mark the appropriate breeding code in eBird and then go
to the website and enter the ages of the birds in the age box. If you need
any help with reporting, please let me know. I may have missed a few of the
Facebook reports of rare birds this season, so if you know of any, please
encourage them to submit their sightings.

Happy birding!
