Highlights on yet another hot, humid morning: Ruby-throated Hummingbird, Green Heron,Great Crested Flycatcher, Louisiana and Northern Waterthrushes, Black-and-white Warbler, American Redstart, Northern Yellow Warbler. Charlotte Khoo reported the continuing Cerulean Warbler at the south end of the Maintenance Field.


Canada Goose - flyover flock of 15-18
Mourning Dove - 15-20
Chimney Swift - 3-5
Ruby-throated Hummingbird - 1 Upper Lobe (Edmund Berry)
American Herring Gull - flyover
Green Heron - 1 hatch-year bird at the Upper Lobe
Red-bellied Woodpecker - 3-5 including a hatch-year bird
Downy Woodpecker - 3
Northern Flicker - 4
Great Crested Flycatcher - 1 Tupelo Field (E. J. Bartolazo)
Eastern Warbling Vireo - 3 or 4
Red-eyed Vireo - 2 or 3
Blue Jay - 3 or 4
Barn Swallow - 1 Turtle Pond
Gray Catbird - 12-14
American Robin - 15-20
White-throated Sparrow - 1 at the Oven/Willow Rock
Baltimore Oriole - 15-20
Common Grackle - 8-10
Louisiana Waterthrush - 1 at the Gill near Azalea Pond
Northern Waterthrush - 1 Turtle Pond
Black-and-white Warbler - 2 or 3
American Redstart - 4 or 5 including an adult male
Northern Yellow Warbler - 8-10
Northern Cardinal - 4 or 5
