As usual, not much going on or to say in early hot and humid August and (I probably shouldn't say this) I'm currently delegated to the house because my husband's recovering from a serious medical situation. So recently, but only in the yard, there's been several yellow warblers, an eastern wood pewee, and, because it's August, steady ruby-throated hummingbird activity that's keeping me sane. The rose-breasted grosbeak parade has ended, as is normal for this time of the summer, and I'm only seeing one here and there. However, common species are as regular as ever.
