- Comments: "*Continuing summering rather obvious monster SY/2 year old (male?) that has been present since at least late June. Massive CAGU with huge bill, long legs and wings, retained paler more worn gray scaps than nominate and exceedingly worn and pale overall. Really stands out. Photod"

- Comments: "Found one amongst a congregation of Snowy Egrets, while exiting Morro Bay State Park on Main Street, near Chorro Creek in Morro Estuary Natural Preserve, 0.2 miles West of Exercise Trail parking lot. White facial marking not wrapping around to the back of its head like a Black-crowned Night Heron, also had a longer neck."
