Folks, I'd love to get some opinions on the shorebird call I recorded earlier this morning at the Granville side of the Neuse River RR Grade. I have a pretty good idea which bird it is, but will leave it open so as not to influence the responses.
The bird was never seen, and called behind me and flew off from a flooded grassy area. It called three times. I have separated the calls into two shorter recordings, as the first call was a bit apart from the last two. I also left a recording with the entire selection together, though wind and background noise are a factor.
