Subject: [sbcobirding] Red Eyed Vireo
I think I heard a Red Eyed Vireo singing on San Jose Creek this morning. I never saw the bird, and Merlin declined to name it based on the recording, so your thoughts are welcome. I unintentionally deleted the best recording, but I did manage this one:

This is quite near where I heard & saw one in the spring, but I haven’t heard it singing again since then, and I’m out there about once a week.
