About an hour ago, I found a MARBLED GODWIT at Hammonasset Beach State Park in Madison. The bird is in the west end of the park, forging in the large puddle between the road and the septic field. There are also Solitary and Pectoral Sandpipers, peep sandpipers and other shorebirds and gulls there to enjoy.
When I left, the bird was still there and the park is open until 8 PM so it is worth a try if you can get there!
